Job Description:
- The Senior Finance Controller will lead the financial strategy, compliance, and operational finance functions of the organization.
- This role is critical in managing financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance across geographies, and supporting business growth in a fast-paced staffing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Manage day to day activities
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business expansion and profitability
- Partner with leadership to align financial goals with organizational objectives
- Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements on a monthly basis
- Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory filings
- Maintain strong internal controls and governance frameworks
- Monitor revenue recognition for contract staffing, permanent placements, and managed services
- Analyze Gross Margins, Bill rates, Pay Rates, and contractor profitability.
- Optimize cost structures including payroll, vendor payments, and operational expenses.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital efficiently
- Oversee accounts receivable cycles, collections, and Accounts Payables
- Ensure timely payroll funding for contract employees
- Lead and mentor finance and accounting teams
- Build scalable finance processes and systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, operations, and sales teams
- Good knowledge on PayCom and QuickBooks Online
- Drive automation and process efficiencies
- Strengthen reporting dashboards and MIS capabilities
- Strong knowledge of staffing industry financial models (contract staffing, RPO, MSP)
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with strategic thinking ability
- Experience handling high-volume payroll and contractor accounting
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
- EBITDA and Margin calculations
- Cash flow optimization and DSO reduction
- Audit compliance and risk mitigation Process efficiency and cost control
