Reporting to: Vice President - Finance and Accounts

Location: Turbhe (Navi Mumbai)

What to expect:

• Supervise the entire accounting activities and be a first point of contact for all interactions, queries and their resolutions.
• Inventory monitoring and Control. Factory & LLU's and Africa Manufacturing Units.
• Compilation of Departmental Budget Preparation (OPEX & CAPEX AOP) and presentation of projected P&L Account. (Including India HO / Factory and Global Manufacturing units (Nigeria / Angola / Ghana / DRC).
• Produce Budgetary Variance Report on Monthly basis and update to all stake holders and Management.
• Responsible for Monthly MIS to be presented to management. i.e., Monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Monthly Review Report for Finance, India Monthly Report for Group reporting.
• Support Global (Africa Manufacturing Plant) Manufacturing Account MIS / Budgeting & SAP accounting including monthly review.
• New Project scenario building for Evaluation.
• Capex Monitoring against approved budget and Payback tracking and monitoring completion of Assessment under Income tax act.
• Ensuring Transfer Pricing Compliance. Profitability Evaluation under Transfer Pricing Act.
• SAP Implementation in All manufacturing Units across all Global units.
• Training new users in FICO module. (Including preparation of Training Video's).
• Attending & Completion of VAT Appeal.
• Attending & Completion of NMMC Cess Assessment proceedings.

Essential qualifications, experience and skills:

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Chartered Accountant degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in a leadership role with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in finance software and tools (e.g., SAP).
