Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Controller located in Gurugram. The Finance Controller will be responsible for managing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data to guide decision-making. The role involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations and contributing to financial planning and strategy.

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end accounting and controllership operations for the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Ensure full compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, including timely filings and reporting.

Establish and maintain an effective Controls & Compliance framework aligned with both local regulations and corporate governance policies.

Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.

Lead weekly, monthly, and annual financial reviews, ensuring financial transparency and operational insight.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred).

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the commodities, gold, or mining industry.

Strong understanding of gold pricing mechanisms, inventory valuation, and trade finance.

Proficient in financial software and systems, such as ERP and advanced Excel.

Proficient in Accounting and general Finance management

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
