Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Controller located in Gurugram. The Finance Controller will be responsible for managing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data to guide decision-making. The role involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations and contributing to financial planning and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting and controllership operations for the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
  • Ensure full compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, including timely filings and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain an effective Controls & Compliance framework aligned with both local regulations and corporate governance policies.
  • Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
  • Lead weekly, monthly, and annual financial reviews, ensuring financial transparency and operational insight.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience after qualified CA.
  • Strong understanding of gold pricing mechanisms, inventory valuation, and trade finance.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems, such as ERP and advanced Excel.
  • Proficient in Accounting and general Finance management
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
