Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for partnering with senior management to develop financial strategies, provide business insights, and ensure strong financial governance across the ISCMEA region. This role will lead financial reporting, MIS, budgeting support, reconciliations, compliance, and business partnering activities while supporting operational and commercial decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit monthly MIS, management accounts, and financial reports within agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate financial reporting and analysis across India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Egypt, and other ISCMEA markets.
  • Review G&A reports, provisions, accruals, and payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor revenue recognition, billing, profitability, and overall financial performance.
  • Manage intercompany, agent, and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.
  • Partner with Credit Control teams to improve collections, manage debtors, and support write-off reviews.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable teams to ensure timely vendor payments and reconciliations.
  • Prepare sales performance reports, incentive calculations, and business performance analysis.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Prepare management dashboards and financial insights to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
  • Support statutory audits, external audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Operations, Credit Control, Corporate Finance, and Regional Management teams.
  • Identify and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and financial controls.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the regional finance team.

Qualifications

  • CA Final or Inter CA qualification.
  • 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, MIS, and business finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, compliance requirements, and internal controls.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional and matrix organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain finance will be a distinct advantage.
