FINANCE MANAGER

Position: Finance Manager

Location: ATS Bouquet, Sector 132, Noida (Work from Office)

Experience: 68 years (Finance, Accounting, Compliance)

Compensation Range:1014 LPA (CTC) depending on experience, capability & fit

Joining: Immediate or within 30 days preferred

Role Overview

The Finance Manager will lead and strengthen Synergie's financial operations including accounting, statutory compliance, reporting for CSR programs, audits, and financial controls. The role will also involve coordination with auditors, project teams, client SPOCs, and vendors to ensure smooth financial processes and timely compliance.

This role requires rigor, structured documentation, timetable discipline, and comfort with multi-stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Reporting

  • Oversee accounting operations and team workflows
  • Ensure accurate and timely entries in Tally
  • Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Project-wise financial reporting and utilization reporting

2. Statutory Compliance

Manage and coordinate:

  • GST filings & reconciliations
  • TDS deductions & returns
  • Income Tax filings
  • RoC filings
  • CSR-specific financial documentation
  • FCRA compliance (as applicable)
  • Coordinate with CA firms for timely submissions and queries.

3. Financial Controls & Systems

  • Establish and maintain financial controls, approval workflows, and documentation standards
  • Maintain audit-ready trails across expenses, reimbursements, and procurement
  • Ensure financial discipline across teams and vendors

4. Payments & Disbursements

  • Review and approve payment runs (vendors, reimbursements, payroll)
  • Ensure invoice validation, contract linkage, and documentation integrity
  • Manage payment schedules and working capital forecasts

5. CSR & Donor Reporting

  • Prepare and verify financial utilization reports for CSR clients
  • Manage supporting documents for claims, audits, and program reconciliation
  • Coordinate with program teams for project-level compliance

6. Audit Management

  • Lead internal and statutory audits
  • Ensure documentation and ledger alignment
  • Address audit observations and drive corrective actions

7. Payroll & HR Finance

  • Process payroll accurately with HR inputs
  • Manage reimbursement cycles & tax components
  • Maintain employee TDS and Form 16 coordination

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical

  • Strong Tally proficiency (mandatory)
  • Good understanding of GST, TDS, IT Act, and CSR finance documentation
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
  • Exposure to FCRA or donor-funded audits preferred

Behavioral

  • High attention to detail
  • Strong documentation discipline
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines
  • Mature communication with external stakeholders
  • Ethical conduct and financial integrity

Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's in Commerce, Finance or Accounting (B.Com/M.Com/CA-inter/MBA-Finance)

68 years of relevant finance/accounts experience

Prior experience in CSR/NGO/compliance ecosystem preferred but not mandatory
