Job Summary:

Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing end‑to‑end financial operations, including financial reporting, accounts payable, collections, revenue optimization, and audit management. Demonstrates strong expertise in managing vendor management and maintaining robust AP operations with high levels of accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Proven track record in handling and mentoring finance team, streamlining reporting processes, and driving automation initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness. Adept at developing and implementing financial policies, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Skilled in account reconciliations, ageing analysis, and supporting statutory and internal audits.

Core Role Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of 2-7 finance professionals
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes ensuring timeliness and accuracy
• Ensure financial statements comply with applicable accounting standards
• Prepare and review internal management reports, dashboards, and variance analysis
• Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Ability to resolve finance issues in a timely and efficient manner and proactively communicate status to the management
• Lead and manage the complete accounts payable function, overseeing invoice booking, validation, approvals, and vendor disbursements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
• Oversee international vendor payment ensuring compliance with statutory documentation
• Monitor merchant settlements, refunds and chargebacks to ensure accuracy
• Monitor accounts reconciliations on a daily basis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate financial risks
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance internal controls
• Streamlined financial reporting processes, improving accuracy and timelines
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the finance team

Skills & Qualification Required:

• Charted Accountant with 4-6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, AP/AR and audit processes
• Hands-on experience in finance operations, reconciliations, and vendor management
• Proven experience in leading and managing team
• Proficient in advanced Excel and ERP systems
