Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and procedures to meet organizational goals.
• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting, including budget preparation and monitoring.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Generate MIS reports and share them with top management every month.
• Present financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and the board of directors.

Financial Operations Management:

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and transactions.
• Spearheaded a wide spectrum of Finance & Accounts activities encompassing finalization of accounts, cash flow management, MIS & reporting, and auditing.
• Experience in preparation & presentation of financial statements like Trading Accounts, Profit & Loss Accounts, and Balance Sheet.

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Monitor financial performance and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and laws.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Supervise and mentor finance department staff, including accountants and financial analysts.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and training to promote professional development within the team.

Strategic Planning and Decision Support:

• Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans and business initiatives.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CA/CFA preferred.
• Experience: Proven work experience as a Finance Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role.
• Industry Background: Prior experience in E-Commerce is essential.
• Technical Expertise: Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial analysis.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead a team and drive results.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in financial management software and MS Office, with expertise in Excel.
• Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
