wellness-focused food startup building innovative solutions at the intersection of
nutrition, convenience, and technology-driven food systems. The company aims to create an ecosystem that makes
healthy eating structured, accessible, and scalable.
In the
first year, Kefilo will focus on piloting and validating three core models:
- Meal Solutions structured healthy meal subscriptions and daily nutrition-focused food services
- Smart Kiosks technology-enabled kiosks for convenient healthy food distribution in gyms, corporates, and campuses
- Grocery Management & Home Cook Services a system connecting grocery planning with trained home cooks for personalized meal solutions
The goal is to
prove operational and financial viability of these models, and then scale them into a larger food-tech ecosystem.
Role Overview
We are looking for a
Finance & Fundraising Expert who can help build the
financial strategy and investor readiness of Kefilo.
This role will work closely with the founder to design
financial models, fundraising strategies, and investor networks required to scale the startup.
This is an
equity-based role, ideal for someone interested in building the
financial and investment foundation of an early-stage startup.
Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Strategy & Business Modeling
- Develop financial projections and revenue models for Kefilo's core business verticals
- Build structured business and financial models for meal solutions, kiosks, and grocery services
- Unit Economics & Profitability Analysis
- Design unit economics frameworks for different revenue engines
- Analyze cost structures, pricing strategies, margins, CAC, LTV, and operational efficiency
- Fundraising Strategy
- Develop fundraising strategies and capital requirements for different stages of growth
- Identify potential investors, angel networks, and funding opportunities
- Investor Readiness
- Support development of financial sections of pitch decks and investor presentations
- Prepare financial models and projections for fundraising discussions
- Grants, Loans & Funding Opportunities
- Research and execute applications for startup grants, MSME schemes, and financial incentives
- Explore loan programs, subsidies, and funding opportunities relevant to the food and startup ecosystem
Ideal Candidate
- Background in Finance, Investment, Economics, or Business Strategy
- Experience or strong interest in startup fundraising and financial modeling
- Understanding of investor expectations and startup funding processes
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment
