wellness-focused food startup building innovative solutions at the intersection of
nutrition, convenience, and lifestyle health. The company aims to make healthy eating accessible through
structured meal solutions, functional food products, and community-driven food ecosystems.
In the
first year, Kefilo is focused on piloting and validating three core business models:
- Meal Solutions structured healthy meal subscriptions and daily nutrition-focused food services
- Smart Kiosks technology-enabled kiosks for convenient healthy food distribution in gyms, corporates, and campuses
- Grocery Management & Home Cook Services a system connecting grocery planning with trained home cooks to deliver personalized meal solutions
The objective is to
validate these models operationally and financially, and then scale them into a larger wellness food ecosystem.
Role Overview
We are looking for a
Finance Officer who will help build the
financial structure, planning, and investment readiness of Kefilo.
This role will work closely with the founder to support
financial planning, fundraising preparation, unit economics, and financial systems required to scale the company.
This is an
equity-based role, ideal for someone who wants to help build the
financial backbone of an early-stage startup.
Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Planning & Strategy
- Develop financial projections and revenue models for Kefilo's core business verticals
- Support budgeting and financial planning for pilots such as meal solutions, kiosks, and grocery services
- Unit Economics & Business Analysis
- Design unit economics models for different revenue streams
- Analyze cost structures, margins, CAC, LTV, and operational efficiency
- Fundraising & Investor Readiness
- Support development of financial sections of pitch decks and investor materials
- Build financial models required for fundraising discussions
- Financial Systems & Reporting
- Create systems for financial tracking, revenue monitoring, and cost management
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards for strategic decision making
- Grants, Loans & Financial Opportunities
- Research startup grants, MSME schemes, and funding opportunities
- Support applications for grants, loans, and financial incentives
Ideal Candidate
- Background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
- Understanding of financial modeling, startup finance, and business metrics
- Interest in startup fundraising and financial strategy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment
