Reports to: Head - Finance
Duties & Responsibilities:
Billing & Cost Management-
- Assist in preparation of actual cost-based invoices for client projects, including salary components and statutory costs.
- Maintain detailed CTC break-ups for deployed resources on a project-wise basis.
- Track mobilization and de-mobilization costs and ensure correct allocation to respective clients.
- Support reconciliation of billed vs recoverable costs.
Expense & Documentation Support-
- Maintain records of reimbursable expenses incurred on behalf of clients.
- Verify supporting documents and ensure completeness before billing.
Client & Internal Coordination-
- Coordinate with project teams and HR to obtain accurate cost data.
- Support responses to routine client queries on billing, cost components, and reconciliations.
Process & Controls-
- Flag inconsistencies, delays, or gaps in cost data to senior finance team members.
- Assist in improving billing turnaround time and reducing rework.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- 13 years of experience in billing, accounting, or finance operations.
- Prior exposure to project-based billing or cost tracking is preferred.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Good understanding of salary structures, CTC components, and reimbursements.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (cost trackers, reconciliations, summaries).
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple data points.
- Clear communication skills for internal and client coordination.
- Willingness to learn and work in a process-driven environment.
