About the Role:
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our efforts in expanding market share and achieving revenue targets. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating and closing sales opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction. This role demands a proactive leader with a technical mindset and a passion for industrial sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand customer base and maximize revenue growth.
- Analyze market trends, identify new opportunities, and create targeted action plans.
- Drive the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with a focus on long-term customer engagement.
- Lead Generation & Relationship Management:
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present accurate and competitive quotations and related documentation.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Create and maintain detailed sales plans, pipelines, and follow-up schedules.
- Provide regular updates on orders, payment collections, and sales progress.
- Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with project, service, and installation teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Mentor and train team members, sharing effective sales tactics to achieve team goals.
- Client Engagement & Negotiation:
- Negotiate contracts and payment terms to secure deals beneficial to both the company and clients.
- Oversee payment recovery processes to ensure timely and accurate collections.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Mechanical or technical background; MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in technical industrial sales, with at least 2 years in field sales for industrial products such as:
- Strapping machines, labeling machines, taping machines, coding and marking machines.
- Pneumatics, sensors, encoders, conveyors, or check-weighing machines.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals.
- Strong understanding of industrial sales cycles, customer needs, and technical solutions.
- Technical Skills: Ability to understand and present complex technical products.
- Personal Requirements:
- Own a bike and hold a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
