Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Sales Executive role based in Gujarat, India. The Field Sales Executive will identify and qualify new restaurant and hospitality prospects, conduct in-person meetings and product demonstrations, and present tailored solutions using Truffle's restaurant management platform. The role includes managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting through negotiation, closing, and onboarding handover. The individual will build and maintain strong relationships with owners, managers, and key decision-makers, while regularly visiting customer locations within the assigned territory. Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining accurate sales pipelines and activity records in CRM tools, gathering market and competitor insights, collaborating with marketing and product teams, and meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in field sales, business development, or account management, preferably in SaaS, restaurant tech, or hospitality solutions.
- Strong prospecting and lead-generation skills, including cold outreach, networking, and pipeline management.
- Ability to deliver clear, compelling in-person and virtual product demonstrations and presentations to diverse stakeholders.
- Solid negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic sales analytics to track activity and performance.
- Understanding of restaurant or F&B operations, including POS, reservations, and online ordering workflows, is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages used in Gujarat is an advantage.
- Comfort working on the road, with frequent travel within Gujarat and the ability to manage time and schedules independently.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable, with a customer-centric and solution-focused mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
