Role Overview
The Faculty – Innovation is responsible for designing and delivering a practice-driven innovation curriculum that enables students to move from
idea generation to prototype development and investor-ready solutions.
This role requires a hands-on facilitator who can blend
innovation frameworks, design thinking, and real-world application to create an experiential learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver sessions on innovation frameworks, ideation techniques, and creative problem-solving
- Facilitate workshops on Design Thinking, Lean Startup, and product innovation methodologies
- Guide students in idea validation using tools like Lean Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas, and market sizing techniques
- Mentor student teams in developing innovative solutions and prototypes
- Conduct prototyping and user-testing sessions, ensuring iterative improvement
- Train students in storytelling, visual communication, and pitch development
- Organize and manage interactions with industry experts and innovation practitioners
- Evaluate student performance through structured assessments, presentations, and project reviews
- Ensure all student teams develop a working prototype before final evaluation
- Collaborate with other faculty to ensure integrated learning outcomes
- Continuously update course content based on industry trends and innovation practices

Essential
Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree (MBA / M.Des / M.Tech / PhD) in Innovation, Product Management, Design, or related field
- Minimum 7- 15 years of experience in innovation, product development, or startup ecosystem
- Strong knowledge of Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Agile methodologies
- Experience in conducting workshops, training sessions, or academic teaching
Desirable
- Experience as a startup founder, product manager, or innovation consultant
- Exposure to incubators, innovation labs, or Startup India ecosystem
- Prior teaching experience in PGDM/MBA programs
