Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Event Operations & Servicing professional. The individual in this role will be responsible for planning and coordinating events, ensuring all operational and logistical elements are well-executed. Daily tasks include communication and coordination with clients to understand their event requirements, managing event marketing activities, overseeing customer servicing, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve event objectives. Additionally, the role may involve identifying and implementing sales strategies to support client needs.
Job Description
- Own end-to-end event planning — from brief intake and timeline development to vendor contracting, venue coordination, and management across all event formats.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring all event requirements are understood, delivered, and followed up with structured feedback loops.
- Build and manage event budgets, track expenditure against forecasts, control cost variances, and deliver post-event financial reports including ROI and cost-per-attendee metrics.
- Lead on-ground operations covering setup, AV and production, transport, and real-time issue resolution to ensure seamless event-day delivery.
- Design and manage the full event journey — registration, check-in, engagement touchpoints, and post-event satisfaction measurement through NPS and feedback tools.
- Source, evaluate, and manage vendors and production partners, ensuring SLA adherence, contract compliance, and continuous performance benchmarking across the supplier base.
- Ensure all events comply with applicable health, safety, and regulatory requirements; maintain contingency plans and lead incident response when required.
- Drive continuous improvement through post-event debriefs, MIS reporting, SOP documentation, and the adoption of best practices to raise operational standards over time.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Event Planning and Event Marketing
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills
- Experience with Events strategies and client relationship management
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt and solve problems in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in event operations and servicing roles is an asset
