Location: Multi-location role (across PlayAll venues)

Reporting to: Central Operations / Leadership Team

Compensation: Up to 7 Lpa , depending on skills and experience.

Role Summary

The Event Manager will own end-to-end planning, execution, and scaling of events across all PlayAll locations. This role manages a team of Event Executives, builds sponsorship partnerships, and designs unique, repeatable, revenue-positive event formats that strengthen the PlayAll brand.

Key Responsibilities

1. Event Strategy & Planning

  • Design and execute a central events calendar across all PlayAll locations.
  • Conceptualize new, engaging formats (tournaments, leagues, corporate events, kids events, themed sports days).
  • Ensure events align with brand, revenue, and community goals.

2. Event Execution & Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end execution: planning, staffing, vendor coordination, on-ground delivery.
  • Ensure SOP adherence, quality control, and smooth on-ground experience.
  • Solve last-minute operational issues independently.

3. Team Management

  • Lead and manage Event Executives across locations.
  • Allocate events, set clear KPIs, review performance, and train the team.
  • Ensure discipline, timelines, and execution excellence.

4. Sponsorships & Partnerships

  • Identify and onboard corporate sponsors, local brands, schools, and partners.
  • Pitch event concepts and close sponsorship deals.
  • Coordinate sponsor branding, visibility, and deliverables during events.

5. Revenue & Performance Tracking

  • Own event P&L: pricing, sponsorship revenue, costs.
  • Track metrics: participation, revenue, repeatability, sponsor ROI.
  • Share post-event reports and insights with leadership.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Venue Managers.
  • Ensure marketing support, registrations, and on-ground readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 35 years of experience in event management, sports events preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple events simultaneously across locations.
  • Strong people management and vendor coordination skills.
  • Proven experience in sponsorship sales or partnerships.
  • High ownership mindset; comfortable with weekends and peak-hour work.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and execution skills.
