Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimation Engineer located in Thane. The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), estimating project costs, conducting research, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with internal teams to develop comprehensive cost estimates. The role involves engaging in negotiation processes with suppliers and contractors to finalize project costs. Timely submission of accurate estimates and providing technical support to project teams are key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Proficient in BOQ preparation and project estimation with a solid understanding of cost analysis.
- Background in Electronics, with the ability to analyze project drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong research abilities to gather and evaluate data for accurate cost estimation.
- Excellent negotiation skills to collaborate with vendors and contractors effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with MEP system components and their costing processes is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field is required.
- Proficient in relevant estimation software and tools is an advantage.
