Job Description

Engagement Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Mobility Regional Leader (Contractor) to lead and execute complex, enterprise-wide mobility services for a designated region. This contractor will act as a senior technical and business authority, accountable for driving mobility strategy execution, operational stability, vendor performance, and cost optimization across multiple GE Vernova businesses.

The engagement requires a high degree of autonomy, independent decision-making, and subject matter expertise in Enterprise Mobility within a global, multi-vendor (MSP) environment.

Scope of Services

The contractor will be responsible for owning and delivering regional Enterprise Mobility services across their full lifecycle, including strategy execution, service delivery, financial governance, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

Enterprise Mobility Leadership & Strategy Execution

  • Lead complex, enterprise-wide mobility programs and systems with significant business impact across GE Vernova businesses.
  • Define and execute regional mobility service approach, priorities, and solutions aligned with GE Vernova digital and business strategy.
  • Act as a recognized Enterprise Mobility Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance, design review, and problem resolution across teams.
  • Shape service direction, anticipate risks, and proactively manage cost, schedule, quality, and operational tradeoffs.

Service Delivery & Operations

  • Ensure end-to-end delivery and operational stability of mobility services through coordination with internal teams, MSPs, and suppliers.
  • Maintain governance over mobility assets, service providers, expenses, purchase orders, settlements, and cost allocations.
  • Ensure accurate service billing, forecasting, payments, and financial transparency.
  • Drive obsolescence planning, asset lifecycle management, and proactive maintenance strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and installations.
  • Coordinate and communicate Change Management and Risk Management activities regionally.

Vendor & Financial Management

  • Lead evaluation, selection, negotiation, and implementation of third-party mobility solutions and contracts.
  • Manage MSP and vendor performance, ensuring service excellence and contractual compliance.
  • Identify and deliver cost optimization, savings initiatives, and service improvement programs with measurable business value.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Champion Lean, Agile, and productivity best practices across mobility operations.
  • Drive evolution of mobility services, including sensor enablement, mobility platforms, data visualization, and data-driven decision support.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, and user experience.

Collaboration & Influence

  • Lead through influence in a global, multicultural environment across sourcing, finance, legal, IT, and business teams.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to internal staff, MSP resources, and dotted-line contributors as part of service delivery (non-people-manager role).

Deliverables

  • Stable, cost-effective regional Enterprise Mobility services
  • Defined and executed regional mobility roadmap aligned to GE Vernova strategy
  • Vendor performance metrics, cost optimization results, and service improvement outcomes
  • Accurate financial forecasting, billing validation, and cost allocations
  • Risk mitigation plans and operational continuity measures
  • Complete and current service and system documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Senior-level experience in Enterprise Mobility services and operations, including MSP-managed environments.
  • Strong knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks (ITIL).
  • Proven experience in telecom and mobility expense management.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating and implementing Enterprise Mobility contracts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive, business, and technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ServiceNow.
