About the Role
We're looking for a data-driven, creative, and technically strong Email Marketing Specialist to lead our lifecycle, promotional, and retention campaigns in a fast-paced giveaway/sweepstakes B2C environment.
Our offers move quickly new entry packs, flash deals, member-only drops, and grand-prize announcements and email is one of our highest converting channels. You'll play a key role in crafting high-impact Klaviyo flows and campaigns that drive purchases, increase member LTV, and push urgency during critical windows.
This is a hybrid role, blending in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
What You'll Do
- Plan, build, and execute high-performing email campaigns using Klaviyo (primary) and HubSpot.
- Develop segmentation, personalization, and automated workflows tailored to giveaway/contest purchase behavior.
- Write compelling copy subject lines, hooks, CTAs, urgency messaging that converts during limited-time drops.
- Analyze campaign metrics (open rate, CTR, CVR, revenue per send) and optimize performance continuously.
- Manage list health, segmentation, and deliverability to maintain strong revenue impact from email.
- Create A/B testing frameworks for subject lines, creative, offers, timing, and audience segments.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance content creation, personalization, segmentation logic, and predictive targeting.
- Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and deliverability best practices.
- Work closely with design and creative teams on high-converting layouts inspired by high-performing DR emails.
- Collaborate with product, promo, and marketing teams to align email pushes with major prize events, deadline reminders, and member promotions.
What We're Looking For
- 24 years email marketing or lifecycle marketing experience.
- Professional, hands-on experience with Klaviyo (required) and HubSpot (preferred).
- Strong understanding of email analytics, funnel metrics, and revenue-driving KPIs.
- Proven ability to create campaigns that drive measurable results conversions, revenue per send, LTV, etc.
- Experience building automation workflows: welcome flows, winback, post-purchase, countdown reminders, VIP/member flows, etc.
- Excellent copywriting skills with a strong grasp of urgency-based direct-response messaging.
- Basic HTML/CSS for email template adjustments is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience using AI tools for email generation, segmentation, or optimization.
- Background in e-commerce, DTC, or giveaway/sweepstakes email marketing.
- Experience with CRM systems and integrations.
- Understanding of lifecycle marketing, customer journeys, and behavioral triggers.
