Role Overview
This role is focused on driving growth & day-to-day execution across marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart. You will be responsible for improving performance across listings, advertising, and operations, while building a strong understanding of marketplace growth levers and contributing to overall business performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Marketplace Execution & Performance
- Manage daily marketplace operations including sales tracking, traffic, and conversion performance.
- Plan & execute growth plans across listings, ads, and promotions.
- Monitor category trends, competitors, and pricing to identify improvement opportunities.
Listings, Content & Brand Experience
- Optimize product listings including titles, bullets, keywords, and backend search terms.
- Coordinate with design/content teams for images, A+ content, and Brand Store updates.
- Ensure listings are accurate, compliant, and consistently updated.
Marketplace Advertising (Amazon Focus)
- Execute and manage ad campaigns (Auto, Manual, Keyword, ASIN targeting).
- Perform keyword research and expand campaigns based on performance.
- Monitor and optimize campaigns for ACOS, ROAS, and conversion improvements.
- Share regular insights and flag underperforming areas.
Inventory & Operations
- Track inventory levels and highlight stock risks or overstock situations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely replenishment and dispatches.
- Support in maintaining smooth order processing and minimizing delays or returns.
Account Health & Issue Resolution
- Monitor account health metrics such as ratings, returns, and response times.
- Handle tickets, listing issues, and basic escalations on marketplaces.
- Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and guidelines.
Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance reports covering sales, ads, and operational metrics.
- Highlight key trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the team in data-driven decision-making.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon (Flipkart is a plus).
- Hands on experience of Amazon Ads.
- Strong understanding of marketplace metrics (ACOS, ROAS, conversion rate, etc.).
- Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and execution focus.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
