Job Role: Director of Publisher Development – Video & In-App Monetization
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Director of Publisher Development to lead global growth across our video player and app monetization solutions. This role will drive publisher acquisition and partnerships across web, mobile apps (gaming, utility, entertainment, etc.), and CTV, enabling scalable monetization through our advanced ad tech stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a global publisher acquisition strategy across mobile apps, web, and CTV ecosystems.
- Identify and engage publishers in key verticals such as gaming, utility, entertainment, and others across priority geographies.
- Pitch and demonstrate the value of our monetization solutions, including video ad formats, in-app bidding, SSPs, and mediation platforms.
- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding and integration process, working closely with tech and ad ops teams to ensure smooth implementation.
- Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with high-value publishers.
- Analyse and monitor key performance indicators such as eCPM, fill rate, ARPDAU, traffic, and retention, and proactively optimize for performance growth.
- Educate publishers on optimal ad placements, formats, and revenue opportunities across in-stream, out-stream, and other monetization strategies.
- Act as a bridge between publishers and internal teams (Ad Ops, Product, Engineering and Analytics) to ensure partner success.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to influence product strategy and market positioning.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, webinars, and partner events to drive visibility and new opportunities.
- Provide leadership in scaling the Publisher Development team, including hiring, mentoring, and strategy alignment.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in publisher development, app monetization, or AdTech business development, with at least 3 years in a senior or strategic leadership role.
- Proven track record of acquiring and growing mobile app and CTV/web publishers, especially in the gaming and utility sectors.
- Deep expertise in ad tech platforms: mediation (e.g., AdMob, ironSource, AppLovin, SSPs/DSPs, in-app bidding, and programmatic advertising.
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex performance data and translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
Hands-on understanding of video monetization, ad placement strategies, and publisher-side integrations.
