About the role
As the Assistant digital marketing manager, you will support the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing initiatives across paid and organic channels. You will work closely with the digital marketing manager to execute campaigns, monitor performance, coordinate with internal teams, and improve traffic, engagement, and conversion outcomes across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across paid search, paid social, display, and organic channels
- Assist in managing day-to-day performance marketing activities, including campaign setup, monitoring, budget pacing and performance tracking
- Coordinate with creative, content, and design teams to ensure timely delivery and deployment of digital assets
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare regular reports on key metrics such as reach, CTR, CPC, conversions and engagement
- Assist in A/B testing of creatives, audiences, landing pages, and messaging to improve campaign efficiency and outcomes
- Support audience targeting and basic segmentation efforts across digital platforms
- Track spends and performance against allocated budgets, highlighting deviations and optimization opportunities
- Ensure campaign hygiene, platform best practices, and adherence to brand and platform guidelines
- Coordinate with the growth and retention teams where required for campaign handoffs, tagging or shared reporting inputs
- Maintain documentation, trackers and dashboards for ongoing digital initiatives
- Stay updated on digital platform updates, ad formats and best practices to continuously improve execution quality
Qualifications & skills
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in digital or performance marketing roles
- Hands-on experience with ad platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and basic understanding of other paid channels
- Working knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Excel for reporting and analysis
- Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals including funnels, attribution basics and performance metrics
- Strong execution, coordination and time-management skills
- Attention to detail with a data-oriented mindset
- Ability to work effectively under the guidance of senior team members in a fast-paced environment
