About the Role
Course Connect seeks a skilled and data-driven Digital Marketing Strategist, focused on paid ads management, campaign optimisation, and SEO. The ideal candidate demonstrates both hands-on expertise in paid media channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads) and a strong background in implementing SEO strategies that increase organic reach and maximise website visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Strategy Management
- Develop targeted digital marketing strategies that prioritise paid search and paid social campaigns to maximise ROI and lead generation.
- Plan, manage, and optimise ad campaigns on Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram), and LinkedIn, including audience targeting, budget allocation, and creative testing.
- Monitor performance daily and implement data-driven changes to improve conversion rates, reduce CPL/CPC, and meet campaign objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and creative teams to ensure ads align with broader business goals.
Content & Social Media
- Guide content creation for social channels and ad creatives, ensuring messaging reinforces campaign strategy and brand voice.
- Oversee social presence growth, leveraging paid and organic content, trending topics, hashtags, reels, and influencer partnerships.
SEO & Web Optimisation
- Support paid campaign goals with SEO strategies for landing pages and conversion-focused content.
- Drive robust SEO strategies—including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO—to boost organic website visibility and traffic.
- Take on responsibilities akin to an SEO Analyst: conduct keyword research, competitor benchmarking, and technical site audits to inform website improvements.
- Conduct keyword research to inform both paid and organic efforts.
- Maintain collaboration with web developers for optimal site performance.
Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Track all paid and organic campaign KPIs using marketing analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Search Console, Meta Business Suite).
- Provide actionable insight reports, focusing on paid channel results, CTR, CPC, CPA, and conversion data, with monthly presentations addressing strategy adjustments.
Email & Automation
- Design automated email nurturing campaigns focused on converting paid leads and enhancing retention.
- Experiment with segmented and personalised messaging based on paid campaign traffic sources.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of hands-on paid media campaign management experience, preferably within EdTech or service industries.
- Proficient in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, and analytics/CRM tools.
- Deep understanding of search and social campaign optimisation, retargeting, audience segmentation, and budget planning.
- Strong communication, analytical acumen, and project management abilities.
- Proven ability to turn campaign data into actionable strategy and creative ideas.
