DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a passionate Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and international team. In this agile environment, you will play a crucial role in developing, operating, and enhancing our cloud-native system landscape and IoT capabilities for our construction software applications. Roles and Responsibilities

• Convert requirements into robust application, infrastructure, and tool solutions, ensuring optimal capacity management.
• Develop and validate cutting-edge infrastructure and tooling features to achieve ambitious product goals.
• Guarantee product availability, reliability, security, and compliance through vigilant observability and essential operational tasks.
• Build and deploy software using CI/CD principles for seamless integration and delivery.
• Work with product development teams to efficiently resolve incidents and maintain smooth operations.
• Support Day 2 operations by automating processes and continuously improving workflows.
• Update and refine documentation and operational procedures for clarity and efficiency.
• Partner with internal and external teams to manage and operate technical interfaces and capabilities effectively.

Skills Required

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in system management or development for embedded and Kubernetes-based, distributed customer-facing applications, with a preference for IoT domain experience.
• Exceptional skills in deployment, integration, configuration management, and troubleshooting for cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes or Crossplane.
• A university degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Information System, or a related field.
• A strong understanding of implementing and maintaining modern distributed development toolchains (GitLab, JIRA).
• Experience in developing software in GoLang and managing infrastructure-as-code through Terraform.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual abilities with a high goal-oriented working approach.
• A proven team player with excellent communication skills in an agile, interdisciplinary, and international environment.
• Proficiency in English.
