DevOps Architect

Cradlepoint is seeking an innovative and experienced DevOps Architect to enhance our talented team. The selected candidate will get the opportunity to deeply understand and solidify their presence in the landscape of customer business, technology, and operations.

What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute a comprehensive DevOps strategy aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
• Design and maintain solution transition steering artifacts, such as standards, design patterns, design rules, and other critical documentation.
• Demonstrate expertise in product/solution/technology/services/platform architecture roadmaps and lead strategic initiatives.
• Develop a physical solution/system architecture with a strong emphasis on reusability and scalability.
• Develop and maintain domain architecture transition plans, guiding the evolution of our systems.
• Manage the end-to-end Agile-DevOps Lifecycle, ensuring seamless workflow from development to operations.
• Govern and approve design specifications, toolsets for Lifecycle Management, physical solutions, services, and overall design architecture.
• Manage key customer and stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment and addressing evolving requirements.
• Communicate solution and development direction clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders/customers.
• Support development and implementation teams through end-to-end coaching, fostering DevOps maturity.

The Skills You Bring: Required Qualifications

• DevOps Estimation: Ability to accurately estimate DevOps efforts and resource requirements.
• DevOps Platform Architecture and Design: Strong expertise in designing and architecting robust DevOps platforms.
• Continuous Testing: Deep understanding and experience with continuous testing methodologies and tools.
• Continuous Monitoring: Proficiency in implementing and managing continuous monitoring solutions for systems and applications.
• Analysis and Design: Ability to analyze scope, create logical flow diagrams, and develop High-Level Designs (HLD).
• SWDP-CDD: Familiarity with Software Delivery Process - Continuous Delivery and Deployment concepts.
• Software Pipeline Configuration: Expertise in configuring and optimizing software delivery pipelines.
• CI/CD: Strong hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles and tools.
• Programming Languages_Python: Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting within a DevOps context.
