Job Description

Desktop Engineer

The Desktop Engineer supports daily IT operations and ensures smooth, secure end-user computing across macOS and Windows environments. This role manages device deployment through Jamf Pro and Intune, handles IT asset lifecycle, provides technical support for users and corporate events, and maintains compliance with security and operational standards.

Experience - 1 to 3 years

Notice Period Should be - Immediate Joiner / Serving Notice Period

Location - Chennai

Interview Rounds - Face to Face only

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and manage macOS/Windows devices using Jamf Pro and Intune.
  • Ensure device security compliance (encryption, patching, antivirus).
  • Provide on-site and remote IT support; handle incidents via ServiceNow.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues.
  • Support AV systems, video conferencing, and townhall/event setups.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and manage asset lifecycle.
  • Assist with LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting and VPN access.
  • Update IT documentation and support process improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of IT support or desktop engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of macOS, Windows 10/11, Jamf Pro, and Intune.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and basic networking (VLANs, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
  • Experience with Meraki/Cisco/Juniper environments and AV setups.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
