We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in India. This position is ideal for freshers/entry-level candidates who are passionate about technology and eager to learn. The Desktop Support Engineer will provide technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring that their desktop and laptop systems operate efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts and permissions.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on systems and applications.
- Document support activities and maintain records of issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with IT team members on projects and improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of network concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
