Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in a similar role and possess a strong technical background in desktop support. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining the company's desktop infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop hardware and software
  • Maintaining inventory of desktop equipment
  • Performing routine maintenance and upgrades on desktop equipment
  • Collaborating with other IT team members to resolve complex issues
  • Documenting support tickets and resolutions

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in desktop support
  • Strong technical background in desktop support
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other desktop applications
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Experience with remote desktop tools
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
