You will be responsible for collaborating with various teams to develop and refine design concepts, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design specifications and requirements.
- Develop and implement design concepts and prototypes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for design projects.
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed design models and engineering drawings.
- Test and evaluate designs and prototypes to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for design projects.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes.
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
- Familiarity with materials science and selection processes.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
