Position Summary

Integration Technology plays a key role in any large transformation, product engineering, or modernization program. With the advent of AI, the entire API ecosystem is evolving to incorporate AI assets. The Integration Engineering Delivery Head is a pivotal leadership role responsible for orchestrating and delivering complex integration programs, collaborating closely with the Integration Services practice. This leader will drive the successful delivery of standalone large-scale integration initiatives, manage integration aspects within platform modernization efforts, and ensure best-in-class outcomes for clients across various industries, including BFSI, Insurance, Travel, Retail, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Execute the delivery for modern integration services in partnership with the Integration practice, including API management, event-driven architectures, cloud-native solutions, and microservices.
  • Drive the building and adoption of AI First assets around integration migration, and institutionalize Integration Centers of Excellence (COE) focused on specific product suites like Mulesoft, Kong, etc.
  • Lead the adoption of centralized integration factory models to improve delivery velocity and optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).

Delivery Oversight & Program Management

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of integration projects, including platform migrations, modernization initiatives, and transformation programs for global clients.
  • Be jointly accountable for Integration revenue realization at optimum costs.
  • Manage large, cross-functional teams (1000+ integration experts) and drive consistent delivery excellence across multiple geographies.
  • Ensure proactive resource readiness, deployment, and upskilling to meet client requirements and project timelines.

Solution Architecture & Technology Enablement

  • Guide architecture design, platform selection, and implementation of integration solutions (IBM API Connect, Kong, Azure APIM, MuleSoft, Kafka, AWS, etc.).
  • Champion the use of accelerators, migration assessors, reference architectures, and APIOps for rapid assessment and delivery.
  • Drive innovation in integration estate modernization, leveraging cloud-native, event-driven, and composable architectures.

Governance, Quality, and Best Practices

  • Establish and enforce governance models, quality gates, and standards checkpoints for integration projects.
  • Mentor and guide teams to maintain and deliver services based on industry best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and reliability across all integration solutions.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and sustain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and market influencer.
  • Lead consulting-led engagements, assess client pain points, and provide future-state recommendations for integration strategy, architecture, and operating models.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 18+ years of deep expertise in integration technologies, platforms, and delivery leadership.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale transformation programs and portfolios ($50M+).
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of business models, value creation, and market dynamics.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT.
