About The Role
The role at Angara involves engaging with high-value customers through personalized, high-touch interactions to facilitate their journey in purchasing fine gemstone jewellery. The ideal candidate will handle qualified inbound inquiries and warm leads, providing expert guidance on gemstones, designs, and customization options to help customers make confident decisions. This position emphasizes building long-term relationships by reconnecting with existing clients, encouraging repeat business, and increasing customer lifetime value. Conducting video consultations to showcase products and explain their unique qualities forms a core part of this role, requiring professionalism, confidence, and excellent communication skills. Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine jewelry sales, customer service, or related luxury retail environments, preferably with exposure to US, UK, or EU clientele.
- Formal education or certification in jewelry, such as GIA, IGI, or equivalent, is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to influence purchase decisions and close high-value sales.
- Comfort and confidence in conducting video consultations and demonstrating products on camera.
- Exceptional spoken and written English skills, with a neutral or global accent, and the ability to adapt tone for diverse audiences.
- Strong ownership mentality, reliability, and adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, including night shifts and peak season periods.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming sales inquiries via phone, live chat, email, and video calls, ensuring each interaction is personalized and aligned with the brand's high-end standards.
- Conduct comprehensive jewelry consultations: understand customer needs, recommend suitable gemstone and design options, and explain product details such as gemstone quality, metal type, and customization possibilities.
- Engage with past customers through thoughtful follow-ups, occasion-based outreach, and personalized check-ins to foster loyalty and encourage repeat purchases.
- Manage the entire customer journey—from pre-purchase advice and order support to resolving issues and post-purchase follow-ups—always maintaining a sales-oriented approach.
- Own and continuously improve key performance metrics, including conversion rate, average order value, repeat purchase rate, customer satisfaction scores (CSAT), and online review ratings.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records within CRM and helpdesk systems, collaborating effectively with merchandising, operations, and marketing teams to resolve customer issues and enhance the overall experience.
