Customer Service - CHA - Gandhidham /Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Inquiry Handling & Issue Resolution:

• Address and resolve customer queries related to customs clearance, shipments, and logistics.
• Provide accurate information on documentation, procedures, and regulations.
• Ensure timely updates and proactive communication with clients.

1. Coordination with Customs, Shipping Lines & Stakeholders:

• Liaise with customs authorities, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and port officials to facilitate smooth cargo clearance.
• Track shipments and ensure timely coordination between all stakeholders.
• Handle escalations and resolve operational challenges effectively.

1. Shipping Documentation Management:

• Prepare and verify Bills of Entry, Shipping Bills, Invoices, Packing Lists, and other necessary customs documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timely submission of documents.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance checks.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate in any discipline.
• Experience: Prior experience in CHA (Customs House Agent) operations, freight forwarding, or logistics is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, import/export documentation, and shipping regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP/Logistics software (preferred).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
