About Bark India

Bark India is the largest operation of Bark outside the UK with more than 50 staff members. Bark India started operations in December 2022 and currently manages Marketing and Sales functions for India, South Africa and Singapore. In addition, there is also customer support team that provides support to India and Global operations.

About the Role

We're now looking for a CRM Manager to join our Bengaluru team. This is a unique opportunity to combine deep expertise in CRM with broad digital marketing leadership, helping to build a best-in-class owned channel growth engine.

This role will focus on both the execution and strategic planning of CRM initiatives, while also supporting the wider digital marketing team and providing guidance and mentorship to our India marketing team. Responsibilities

  • Designing and delivering multichannel CRM campaigns across WhatsApp, Push notifications, Email, in-app messaging, and performance retargeting.
  • Building customer journeys that drive onboarding, engagement, retention, and reactivation.
  • Partnering with product and data teams to optimise CRM within our app and web platforms.
  • Scaling automation, segmentation, and personalisation strategies to maximise customer value.
  • Acting as a mentor and guide to our India marketing operations team, sharing expertise across performance and digital marketing.
  • Collaborating with global marketing colleagues to ensure CRM is integrated with paid, SEO, and brand activity.
  • Tracking and reporting on campaign performance, uncovering insights to inform future growth.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years experience in CRM & lifecycle marketing, ideally in app-first or marketplace businesses.
  • Proven experience managing and developing team members, with the ability to mentor, prioritise effectively, and drive high performance.
  • Hands-on expertise with automated channel marketing (WhatsApp, Push, Email, in-app, retargeting).
  • Knowledge of leading CRM, Data & Messaging platforms (e.g. Braze, Iterable, Whatsapp Business).
  • A solid grounding in digital marketing (PPC, paid social, retargeting) and how it connects to CRM.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in A/B testing and campaign optimisation.
  • A collaborative leader who can coach, inspire, and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a global mindset.
