Role Summary

As a Creative Strategist at Halfpants Media, you'll be the mind behind the ideas, shaping narratives, crafting campaign strategies, and ensuring our creative output is not just visually stunning but strategically sharp. You'll work closely with the design, motion, production, and writing teams to develop insights-driven concepts, brand stories, and campaign frameworks that move people and build brands.

This role is for someone who thinks in stories, connects dots effortlessly, enjoys diving into culture and consumer behavior, and knows how to translate business goals into creative direction. If you thrive at the intersection of strategy and creativity, you'll feel right at home.

Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling brand, campaign, and content strategies grounded in insights and clear objectives.
  • Collaborate with creative directors, designers, writers, and producers to shape concepts, storyboards, and campaign narratives.
  • Conduct research on audience behavior, industry trends, competitive landscapes, and cultural shifts to inform creative decisions.
  • Craft strategic decks, campaign breakdowns, and presentation narratives that guide internal teams and excite clients.
  • Support the development of in-house Originals and IPs with strong creative and strategic thinking.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh, actionable ideas.
  • Translate client briefs into actionable strategies with clarity, intention, and strong creative direction.
  • Ensure strategic consistency across static, video, motion, digital, and experiential formats.
  • Leverage AI tools to analyze insights, enhance research workflows, and experiment with new creative possibilities.
  • Manage multiple projects with strategic clarity, speed, and a high creative bar.
  • Present ideas and strategies to clients confidently, articulating the thinking behind creative recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Degree optional. Strong thinking essential.
  • 12 years of experience in brand strategy, creative strategy, content strategy, advertising, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing thinking, frameworks, decks, and strategic contributions to campaigns or brand work.
  • Solid understanding of digital platforms, social media trends, and consumer psychology.
  • Proficiency in tools like Keynote, Google Slides, Notion, and AI tools for strategy & ideation.
  • Ability to craft structured presentations that are clear, persuasive, and visually coherent.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skillsverbal and written.
  • Ability to think conceptually and turn abstract ideas into actionable creative direction.
  • A collaborative, humble, and proactive mindset.
