B2B Sales – Corporate Insurance

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven B2B Sales Manager with hands-on experience in selling general insurance products such as Property, Marine, Fire, Liability, employee Benefits and other commercial lines to corporate clients. The role involves strategic client acquisition, relationship management, and delivering tailored risk solutions to businesses of varying scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire and manage corporate clients across industries for commercial insurance solutions.
  • Assess client risk exposures and recommend appropriate insurance products.
  • Drive sales of Property, Marine, Fire, Liability, and other commercial insurance lines.
  • Build long-term relationships with CXOs, CFOs, and Risk Managers.
  • Coordinate with underwriting, claims, and servicing teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present customized insurance proposals and quotations.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to regional business growth.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, regulatory updates, and competitor offerings.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 3-10 years in B2B insurance sales, preferably in broking or direct insurer setup.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial insurance products.
  • Client Exposure: Experience in dealing with SMEs, large corporates, and industry-specific risks.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Education: Graduate/Postgraduate. Insurance certifications (III, IRDA) preferred.
