Job Role: Copywriter Meta & Google (Performance & Brand)
Role Overview
We are looking for a copywriter who understands how people think on platforms, not just how brands speak.
This role sits at the intersection of brand thinking and performance marketing. You will write copy that feels human, clear, and persuasive across Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google (Search, YouTube, Display) with a strong focus on clarity, relevance, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
- Write platform-native copy for:
- Reels, Stories, Feed, and Carousels
- Develop hooks, captions, CTAs, and on-screen text that:
- Stop the scroll
- Feel relatable, not salesy
- Match the tone of real conversations
- Translate brand truths into short-form, high-impact messaging
- Collaborate with designers and video editors to ensure copy works with visuals, not against them
- Adapt copy for different audience segments, formats, and funnel stages
Google (Search, YouTube & Performance Max)
- Write high-intent, problemsolution copy for:
- Search ads (headlines, descriptions, extensions)
- YouTube scripts and overlays
- Performance Max asset sets
- Mirror real user queries and concerns in copy (fit, comfort, price, trust, etc.)
- Focus on clarity, reassurance, and decision confidence not hype
- Optimise copy based on performance signals (CTR, CVR, engagement)
What We're Looking For
Skills & Experience
- 25+ years of copywriting experience (agency or brand side)
- Hands-on experience writing for Meta and Google (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of:
- Platform behaviour
- Performance marketing funnels
- Short-form, conversion-oriented writing
- Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, human language
- Comfort writing multiple variations at scale
