Job Overview
The Tour Manager is responsible for managing and executing educational student tours, ensuring smooth operations, safety, and an enriching travel experience for participants. The role requires strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills while handling groups of students during the tour.
Key Responsibilities
- Tour Planning & Execution
- Manage day-to-day tour operations as per the planned itinerary.
- Ensure timely coordination of travel schedules, accommodations, and activities.
- Monitor tour flow and make adjustments when necessary.
- Student Management & Safety
- Supervise and manage student groups throughout the journey.
- Ensure discipline, safety, and well-being of students during all activities.
- Handle emergencies and resolve issues quickly.
- Coordination with Stakeholders
- Coordinate with hotels, transport vendors, activity providers, and local guides.
- Maintain communication between the organization, schools, and parents if required.
- Experience & Engagement
- Conduct interactive sessions, briefings, and activities to keep students engaged.
- Ensure students gain maximum learning from the educational tour experience.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily tour reports and feedback from participants.
- Report operational updates and incidents to the central team.
