Role Overview
We are seeking a Content Writer proficient in both Tamil and English to create impactful, engaging, and politically relevant content. The ideal candidate will have a background in journalism and a keen understanding of political trends, narratives, and audience sentiment.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit short-form and long-form content in Tamil and English, including articles, campaign materials, and social media content.
- Develop narratives that align with political and public communication strategies.
- Research political developments, policy updates, and news trends to produce timely, insightful content.
- Collaborate with the strategy and design teams to ensure message consistency and brand tone.
- Translate and adapt content between Tamil and English while preserving context and tone.
- Conduct fact-checking and maintain accuracy in all written materials.
Requirements
- 12 years of experience in content writing, journalism, or political communication.
- Excellent command of Tamil and English (both reading and writing).
- Strong understanding of Indian politics, current affairs, and policy landscape.
- Ability to simplify complex political issues into clear, engaging narratives.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Political Science, or related field (preferred).
