Responsibilities

  • Serve as the content review SME for promotional and medical materials related to pharmaceutical products and disease areas for the US market
  • Review content for accuracy, context, scientific balance, and alignment with product/brand tone
  • Verify substantiation of claims, ensure appropriate references, and check consistency with approved labels
  • Ensure content is relevant and useful for the target audience
  • Advise US marketing and medical teams on materials and events to ensure compliance with company policies and global standards
  • Provide guidance on US FDA requirements and ensure adherence to regulatory standards
  • Support teams with product information, brand messaging, and compliant claims
  • Ensure promotional and non-promotional communications follow regulations and support appropriate product use
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Brand teams on review and approval of materials
  • Support ad hoc global medical communication and affairs projects
  • Participate in MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) discussions and submissions

Requirements

  • Advanced qualification in biosciences or medicine (Pharm.D., MBBS/MD, PhD)
  • 4–8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry (Medical Affairs, Medical Communications, or Marketing)
  • 2–4 years of experience as a medical reviewer in pharma companies or agencies
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with ability to provide compliant, medically accurate solutions
  • Ability to improve marketing messages for HCPs, consumers, and managed care audiences
  • Strong scientific knowledge across therapeutic areas (Immunology, Cardiovascular, Renal, Neurology, Oncology preferred)
  • Experience with US FDA regulatory framework and practical implementation in content approval
  • Strong multitasking, project management, and organizational skills
  • Solution-oriented mindset with positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, legal, regulatory, and medical affairs teams
