Major Accountabilities
Domain Expertise:
- Apply in-depth knowledge of life sciences, including drug discovery, development, and clinical trials, to support AI-driven initiatives.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Generative AI and their potential applications in the life sciences industry.
Business Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather and understand the business needs related to Generative AI solutions
- Conduct thorough analyses of business processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for AI-driven improvements and efficiencies.
- Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses to support AI projects.
- Ability to create detailed business requirements documents, process flow diagrams, and other required documents for implementation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate complex AI concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding and buy-in.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to engage stakeholders and drive consensus on AI initiatives.
Generative AI:
- Utilize Generative AI technologies to analyze large and complex datasets, identifying patterns, trends, and insights.
- Work with data scientists and AI engineers to develop and deploy AI models that address business needs in the life sciences domain.
- Ensure AI solutions are interpretable, actionable, and integrated into existing workflows.
Regulatory & Ethical Compliance:
- Ensure that AI solutions comply with different regulatory requirements ( USFDA, EU, PMDA etc ) and ethical standards relevant to the life sciences industry.
- Monitor and address potential risks associated with the deployment of AI technologies.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess 3 to 5 years of core Business Analyst experience in the life sciences domain and AI technologies, complemented by a Master s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Possess 6 to 8 years of core Business Analyst experience in the life sciences domain and AI technologies, supported by a Bachelor s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, machine learning, and their applications in the life sciences. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering AI-related projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a strategic mindset. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Familiarity with life sciences / pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and industry standards
