A well-known global consumer brand is building its India category team and has partnered with Flexiple to hire. You will own a portfolio that millions of shoppers already touch and shape how it grows in one of the world's largest markets. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.

Role Overview

As a Category Manager, you will own the performance of your category end to end, from assortment and pricing to promotions and supplier partnerships, turning data into decisions that grow revenue and margin.

Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy

• Own category planning, assortment, and pricing decisions
• Build and track category P&L, margin, and growth targets
• Plan promotions and launches with marketing and supply teams

Partnerships & Analysis

• Negotiate terms and build relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Analyse sales, share, and shopper data to spot opportunities
• Present category reviews and recommendations to leadership

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 3 to 7 years in category management, buying, or merchandising
• Strong commercial and analytical judgement with a P&L mindset
• Comfort with Excel or Google Sheets and sales data
• Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail, e-commerce, FMCG, or consumer goods
• Familiarity with supplier negotiation and vendor management
• An MBA or postgraduate qualification in business
