Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Category Manager to take complete ownership of our Peptide category. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving category growth through strategic sourcing, vendor management, pricing, inventory optimization, and data-driven decision-making while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the entire Peptide category, driving revenue growth, profitability, and overall category performance.
Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business goals.
Source and onboard new vendors while building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts to maximize business value.
Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and inventory to ensure optimal product availability.
Analyze sales performance, customer demand, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Forecast demand and coordinate with supply chain teams to maintain healthy inventory levels.
Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategies to strengthen market positioning.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, procurement, finance, and warehouse teams to execute category initiatives.
Track category KPIs, prepare business reports, and recommend actionable improvements.
Identify opportunities to introduce new peptide products and expand the category portfolio.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable industry regulations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Category Management, Buying, Procurement, Merchandising, or Product Management.
Experience managing healthcare, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, biotechnology, or
peptide-related product categories is preferred.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
