Shunya Wellness is a design-led spiritual lifestyle brand crafting premium meditation essentials, ritual tools & self-care products for modern seekers. We're looking for a Business Development professional who deeply understands relationships, trust-building, and growth someone who can convert conversations into meaningful, long-term opportunities for the brand.
In Your Ownership:
You will be the custodian of Shunya's growth ecosystem across partnerships, key customer relationships, offline opportunities, and D2C/B2B channels.
Partnerships & Collaborations:
- Identify and build relationships with yoga studios, wellness centers, retreats, spiritual teachers, therapists, architects & interior designers
- Nurture collaborations with key partners and mentors associated with Shunya
- Explore corporate gifting, retreats, events, and institutional opportunities
- Represent Shunya in conversations, meetings, and potential tie-ups
Customer Relationships & Outreach:
- Engage with high-value customers and repeat buyers to deepen relationships
- Reach out to warm leads and old customers to understand their context and needs
- Convert warm interest, enquiries, and abandoned carts into sales through meaningful conversations
- Maintain a human, respectful, and trust-led interaction style across calls, WhatsApp, and email
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Build and manage a structured outreach pipeline (B2B, B2P, bulk orders, partnerships)
- Create and share proposals, decks, catalogues, and follow-ups where required
- Work with the founders to design offers, bundles, and opportunities for partners
- Take ownership of monthly targets linked to outreach and partnership-driven sales
Market Development & On-ground Opportunities:
- Identify opportunities for pop-ups, events, workshops, and exhibitions
- Build city-wise or region-wise presence by nurturing local partners and spaces
- Support execution of on-ground experiences that align with Shunya's premium, sacred positioning
Strategy & Feedback Loop:
- Maintain basic CRM/records of leads, conversations, and status updates
- Share regular insights from the market, customer conversations, and partners
- Work closely with the founder and marketing team to align messaging, offers, and communication
Beyond:
- Represent Shunya's ethos in every conversation calm, clear, respectful, premium
- Suggest new ideas for collaborations, communities, and formats of engagement
- Help build systems and processes for business development as we grow
Skills Needed:
Hard & Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal & written communication
- Comfort with speaking to new people (phone, video, in-person)
- Basic experience or strong interest in sales / partnerships / business development
- Ability to research and identify relevant partners, organizations, and spaces
- Basic familiarity with Excel/Sheets, email, WhatsApp for Business and simple CRM-style tracking
- Ability to create or work with simple decks, proposals, and catalogues
- Negotiation and follow-up skills, without being pushy
- Detail-oriented and organized in maintaining records
