Northern Insights is a globally operating Expert Network headquartered in Sweden, specializing in organizing paid telephone consultations and more in-depth work between industry specialists and the investment & strategy consulting community. The network includes professionals from diverse roles such as CEOs, CFOs, CTOs, CIOs, Procurement Managers, and more.

Role Description:

This is a fully remote, individual contributor role. As a Business Development Specialist at Northern Insights, you'll play a key role in driving our growth by acquiring new clients in the consulting, private equity, and corporate strategy sectors. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in B2B sales, understands relationship-driven outreach, and wants to be part of a growing expert network business.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and target decision-makers at consulting firms, PE funds, and corporates across Europe, the UK, and India.
  • Prospecting & Cold Outreach: Craft and execute compelling LinkedIn/email campaigns to engage prospects and book high-quality meetings.
  • Pipeline Management: Own and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent movement from lead to opportunity to closed deal.
  • Sales Meetings & Demos: Conduct discovery calls, communicate our value proposition effectively, and tailor pitches to client needs.
  • Proposal & Deal Closure: Draft proposals, negotiate terms, and work closely with leadership to close new client accounts.
  • Feedback Loop: Collaborate with the management and delivery teams to improve messaging and ensure smooth client onboarding.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and buyer behavior to refine outreach strategies.

Qualifications:

- Strong experience with outbound sales, new client outreach is a MUST.

- Strong level of competitiveness - motivated by incentives and wanting to win

- Excellent time management and prioritization skills

- Willingness to work European work hours

- Must be available full-time (please note: this is not a role that can be done part-time or with other jobs, we will need your full attention and effort - there will be a lot of communication, training, support, and working together)

- Candidate must have Perseverance, Hunger to Win and Never Give Up Attitude
