Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Business Development Specialist role based in Navi Mumbai, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Business Development Specialist will identify and qualify new business opportunities, generate leads, and build a strong sales pipeline across ABWcurious's education and technology offerings. The role includes conducting market research, mapping target segments, and supporting go-to-market activities for services such as AI/ML, cybersecurity, digital marketing, and learning solutions. Responsibilities include engaging prospective clients through calls, emails, meetings, and digital channels, understanding their needs, and positioning relevant solutions. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals, presentations, and pricing, maintain accurate CRM records, and support relationship management and post-sale follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and long-term growth.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market, customer, and sales data to support business decisions.
- Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident client-facing interaction.
- Demonstrated experience in lead generation, prospecting, and building a qualified sales pipeline.
- Proficiency in market research, competitor analysis, and identifying new sectors or accounts for growth.
- Customer service mindset with the ability to understand client needs, address concerns, and support long-term relationships.
- Prior experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in EdTech, IT services, or technology consulting.
- Comfort using CRM tools, productivity software, and digital outreach platforms to manage leads and track activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Self-driven, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Interest in emerging technologies, AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation solutions is highly desirable.
