Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing and implementing growth strategies. The Business Development Manager will also collaborate with internal teams, analyze market trends, prepare business proposals, and present solutions to address client needs effectively.

Primary Responsibility:

We are a leading BFSI skilling and education organization focused on building future-ready talent by introducing early financial literacy, career awareness, and skill-building programs. We work closely with schools, higher education institutions, BFSI corporates and learners to bridge the gap between formal education and industry requirements.

Role Summary

The Manager Business Development (School Tie-ups) will be responsible for building strategic partnerships with schools to introduce financial literacy, career awareness, skill-building and foundational BFSI programs. The role involves institutional sales, relationship management with school leadership, program rollout and expansion across assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. School Partnerships & Tie-ups

Identify, approach and onboard schools (CBSE, ICSE, State Board, IB, IGCSE) for financial literacy and skill-based programs.

Engage with school owners, trustees, principals, academic heads and coordinators.

Present program offerings and close institutional tie-ups through MOUs / agreements.

2. Program Launch & Implementation

Plan and launch financial literacy, career guidance and skill-building programs within partner schools.

Coordinate orientation sessions for school leadership, teachers, parents and students.

Ensure smooth program execution in collaboration with internal academic and operations teams.

3. Revenue & Growth Targets

Achieve assigned monthly / quarterly business and revenue targets.

Expand the school partner network across allocated territories.

Identify opportunities to scale programs across multiple grades or school branches.

4. Relationship Management

Build and maintain long-term relationships with partner schools.

Act as a single point of contact between schools and internal stakeholders.

Address operational or academic concerns to ensure partner satisfaction.

5. Market Intelligence & Reporting

Track education trends, NEP-aligned initiatives, and competitor activity in the school education segment.

Share market feedback to enhance program offerings and delivery models.

Prepare regular MIS, pipeline and performance reports.

Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, sales strategies, and client relationship management
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in market analysis, data interpretation, and strategic planning
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes and familiarity with talent acquisition strategies is a plus
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic business environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Previous experience in technology-enabled recruitment services is an advantage
