Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry events.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
- Pitch agency services including branding, creative, digital marketing, social media, performance marketing, media planning, content, and production.
- Lead client presentations, proposal development, and commercial negotiations.
- Prepare customized solutions based on client business objectives and marketing needs.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across brands and organizations.
- Understand client challenges and collaborate with internal teams to develop effective marketing solutions.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and support account growth opportunities.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
- Identify potential sectors and categories for agency expansion.
- Gather client and market insights to support agency growth strategies.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Creative, Strategy, Media, Digital, and Client Servicing teams to develop winning pitches.
- Coordinate proposal timelines and ensure timely delivery of presentations and RFP responses.
- Support leadership in developing strategic partnerships and alliances.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
- Track revenue performance against targets and forecast future opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- 4–8 years of business development or sales experience in an advertising agency, digital marketing agency, media company, or marketing services organization.
- Proven track record of acquiring and managing client relationships.
