Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry events.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
  • Pitch agency services including branding, creative, digital marketing, social media, performance marketing, media planning, content, and production.
  • Lead client presentations, proposal development, and commercial negotiations.
  • Prepare customized solutions based on client business objectives and marketing needs.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across brands and organizations.
  • Understand client challenges and collaborate with internal teams to develop effective marketing solutions.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and support account growth opportunities.
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Identify potential sectors and categories for agency expansion.
  • Gather client and market insights to support agency growth strategies.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with Creative, Strategy, Media, Digital, and Client Servicing teams to develop winning pitches.
  • Coordinate proposal timelines and ensure timely delivery of presentations and RFP responses.
  • Support leadership in developing strategic partnerships and alliances.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
  • Track revenue performance against targets and forecast future opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • MBA preferred but not mandatory.
  • 4–8 years of business development or sales experience in an advertising agency, digital marketing agency, media company, or marketing services organization.
  • Proven track record of acquiring and managing client relationships.
