Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager based in Mumbai. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients, and provide strategic input for company growth. Responsibilities include market research to identify trends, developing sales strategies, preparing business proposals, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to meet client needs and goals. They will act as the bridge between customers and the company to foster innovation and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Business Development and Sales skills, including lead generation, client acquisition, and a proven ability to meet revenue targets
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities to foster trust and partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor, photonics, and electronics industries or experience working in manufacturing and technology sectors
  • Strategic Planning and Analytical Thinking capabilities to develop business strategies and assess market trends
  • Project Management and Collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in market research tools and CRM software is a plus
  • Passion for innovation and sustainability will be highly regarded
