Role Overview
SRV Media is looking for a Business Development professional who understands how an advertising agency sells ideas, strategy, and outcomes not just services. This role focuses on new client acquisition, relationship building, and converting conversations into long-term agency partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new clients for:
- Digital marketing
- Performance marketing
- Creative & branding
- Social media & content
- Generate leads through:
- Networking, referrals, events
- Outbound outreach (LinkedIn, email, calls)
- Inbound lead qualification
- Conduct client discovery calls to understand business challenges
- Work with internal teams to:
- Build proposals & pitch decks
- Scope projects and estimate commercials
- Lead agency pitches and presentations
- Negotiate commercials, close deals, and onboard clients smoothly
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Track leads, conversions, and revenue using CRM tools
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in business development for an advertising / digital agency
- Strong understanding of:
- Agency services & pricing models
- Retainers, project-based, and performance-based engagements
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Ability to sell strategy and value, not discounts
- Comfortable engaging with CXOs, founders, and marketing heads
- Strong follow-up and closing ability
