Job Title: Sr. Business Development Manager

Department: Sales & Marketing

Location: Gurugram

Reports To: Sales Head

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Business Development Manager to drive sales growth

through lead generation, client engagement, and field-based business development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and engage potential clients via cold calls, field visits, networking, and referrals.

Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities and industry trends.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through consistent field activity.

Present, demonstrate, and sell EFFORT to prospective clients.

Understand customer requirements and propose tailored solutions.

Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve revenue targets.

Foster long-term client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.

Attend client meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations as required.

Address client queries and provide post-sales support.

Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide regular sales reports and forecasts.

Qualifications & Skills:

B.Tech (Computer Science), BBA (Marketing), or equivalent.

5+ years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or business development (field-

based). Product sales experience preferred.

Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) is an advantage.

Role Requirements:

Field-based role with frequent travel within assigned territory.

Flexibility for occasional weekend or extended hours based on client requirements.

Experience in the SaaS industry with exposure to domestic markets.

Familiarity with Mild Elster and operations in Africa is a plus.
